There are two areas in the design of the salt chamber:
- Area available for construction
- Underlying construction
- Furnishings
Area available for construction
The salt chamber does not have be one set size. Our trained fitters can therefore base there construction on the area available. Usually the rooms tend to be rectangular or square but this is no way a need. There needs to be a separate area for the operator to work outside of the salt room. This can either be built onto your room or an area can be partitioned off within the room itself. It would also be useful to have a separate room somewhere in the building for changing or a cloak room and a rest room. The room will also need sufficient exit points which our fitters can discuss with you.
Underlying Construction
The trained fitters will ensure the room has adequate cabling, a fresh air fan, an exhaust fan, adequate and evocative lighting. Your available premeses therefore could be adapted to meet these needs.
Furnishings
How you furnish the room is entirely up to you. Many owners use sun loungers plants and rockeries in an effort to evoke the feelings of relaxation and calm. Another good idea is to include newspapers and books for clients to choose from while they are enjoying their dry salt treatment. Children will naturally enjoy the unique surroundings of the salt room but an extra bonus would perhaps be a tray of toys or comics.
